It is already the time for the second edition of our Miam Letter, the Newsletter to follow Miam Food from the inside/like an insider. We have lots of news to share with you this week before some great announcements for next month…
So, what happen at Miam Food those last couple of weeks?
We listen to you!
You are an expat or have been? You dreamt of a Norman camembert or of a good saucisson at night? We need you!
Students from the ESSCA (Business school) are making a market study in order to know better the behavior of French living abroad. Homesickness, link with the gastronomy, environment of their new host country.
We’ll try – our best – to give you the an insight of what we’ll learn from this market study one of the coming Miam Letter.
In the Final for the « Prix de l’initiative »
Winner of the Digiprize in 2016, winner of the « prix de l’initiative » in 2017? Miam Food is in the final of this entrepreneurial competition organised by the Credit Agricole Maine-et-Loire. Results will be announced before the end of the month!
We are indeed competing against ten other student projects. We will have a 10-minute pitch to convince the jury and they will give us their decision on March 22 for the night of the initiative. We strongly invite you to come applaud us (and support us). A victory would be a big boost for our Expat friends!
The catalogue of products that will be offered on Miam Food is about to be finalized. Before they are put on sale, they all did a tour through the Miam Food HQ. This has been an opportunity to take a picture, to weigh, but above all… to taste them!
The Miam team is therefore dedicatedly working on tasting each product. Saucissons, cheeses and jams all were eaten with pleasure! Thanks to Yann, boss of the Dublin’s, to have brought his critical eye. Good news: all tested products have passed the quality test with success!
Get Ready, the next Miam Letter will be full of (very) big announcements!
See you in a couple of weeks
Gaëlle and Édouard
